The Wallingford Garden Tour is this Sunday, 6/24. The tour is self-guided, you get the map once you buy your ticket. Tickets can be purchased (now) at Tweedy and Pop’s in Wallingford Center ($15, kids 12 and under free) or at the Wallingford Neighborhood Center (behind the Tully’s on 45th) on Sunday.

THIS WALK IS DISCONTINUED, THE TAGS (AND IN A FEW CASES THE PLANTS) REMOVED 7/12/2012

This is the first of the Wallingford garden walks. The walk itself is short and will cover about a dozen plants. This first walk is all about groundcovers. Everyone wants to keep weeds at bay and the best way to do that is by covering the ground yourself, either with a heavy mulch or plants that YOU choose. Even though this is only a tiny selection of the groundcovers available, there’s sure to be one or two that will work for you. Read more »
