I didn’t realize that I needed a lesson on when to pick broccoli but after reading this blog post I realized that maybe I did. Check out the NW Edible blog for an extensive and detailed lesson on exactly what to look for when picking broccoli and cauliflower. She also talks about what kind of starts NOT to buy. (It’s a much more enjoyable read than it sounds.)
